Yoidori in Tokushima Station Basement Highlights Chicken Thigh Sashimi and House Craft Beer
On June 12, 2026, T.S.Brewery / Yakitori Sakagura Yoidori featured its momoniku sashimi on Instagram. Made with Kagoshima-grown parent chicken, the dish offers a moist texture and deep savory flavor, and it pairs naturally with the brewery’s house craft beers.
Located on the basement level of Clement Plaza next to Tokushima Station, T.S.Brewery / Yakitori Sakagura Yoidori is a brewpub centered on house craft beer and Awaodori chicken yakitori. The kitchen grills skewers over charcoal one by one and also serves dishes made with Kagoshima-grown parent chicken.
The Instagram post focused on momoniku sashimi, a dish that brings out the moist texture and concentrated umami of fresh chicken thigh. Because it has a firm, savory depth, it works well as a food-pairing dish that can stand up to the malt sweetness and hop bitterness of beer.
Among the beers associated with the brewery are Shinmachigawa Pale Ale, with citrus aroma and a rounded body, Shinmachigawa Stout, a pleasantly bitter dark beer, and Shinmachigawa Sudachi Honey, which opens with sudachi citrus acidity and a gentle honey sweetness. A five-beer tasting set is also offered, making it easy to shift from a lighter pale ale to a richer stout depending on the dish.
The interior is designed to feel relaxed, with noren curtains at the counter and partitions around the table seating. It is easy to drop in alone, and it also suits small groups looking to spend time over yakitori and craft beer at a station-side basement spot.
