The beer pub craft beer "Extra Hop" in Chuo-machi, Oita City is scheduled to hold a faló brewing tap takeover on Sunday, April 5. In a March 22 post, the shop also announced two newly tapped beers from Bighand Bros. Beer in Kyoto and CRAFT BEER BASE in Osaka.
Oita City Chuo-machi's craft beer "Extra Hop" has updated its event information on Instagram. The highlight is the announcement of a faló brewing tap takeover on Sunday, April 5. In addition to operating hours aligned with the final day of the holiday weekend, the shop also shared specific details about the kegs that were recently connected.
The two beers listed as current openings are:
- Bighand Bros. Beer / Tyrolite
- CRAFT BEER BASE / PALE ALE
The former comes with an explanation referring to a Munich-style lager, suggesting a clean, easy-drinking pint. The latter is introduced as a classic pale ale the shop has carried before, with notes of malt-derived caramel character and a well-balanced profile. By lining up two taps with different directions, lager and pale ale, the selection is easy to choose from whether you want something with a meal or on its own.
The shop is located on the first floor of Okuno Hosomichi Building, 2-6-25 Chuo-machi, Oita City, Oita Prefecture. It is a beer pub in a convenient area near the station, making it easy to stop by from lunch drinking through the evening. Ahead of the April 5 tap takeover, checking the current taps first is part of the fun. Whether you are aiming for faló brewing day or just want to enjoy Extra Hop's selection during normal business hours, an early check is recommended.
