Maru Mugi, a beer pub located in Arakicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, has released its craft beer lineup for October 8, 2026. The menu features five beers, priced at 1,300 yen for a large serving and 1,000 yen for a small serving.
The standout is Minoh Beer’s Kokusan Momo Weizen Shimizu Hakuto Ver. from Osaka. At 5.0% ABV, this Weizen combines a fresh white-peach aroma with a dry finish, offering fruit character without becoming overly sweet.
Ushitora Brewery’s Ogon no Hop Star IPA☆ from Tochigi is a 6.5% IPA described as both nostalgic and new. It should appeal to drinkers looking for a classic hop-driven profile with a sense of history.
Repubrew’s NO LEMON LAGER from Shizuoka comes in at 5.6%. Rather than tasting like lemon, it highlights lemongrass and is presented as a lager reminiscent of spiced tea.
COEDO’s Beniaka from Saitama is a 7.0% specialty beer made with Kawagoe’s Beniaka sweet potato. Its profile is described as gently sweet and roasty, making it a richer option on the tap list.
Rounding out the lineup is Ise Kadoya Beer’s ESB from Mie, a 5.0% beer with depth, body, and a clean finish. Its balanced character is positioned as an easy-drinking choice for fans of English-style ales.
Maru Mugi is located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building at 1 Arakicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo. The pub opens from 6 p.m. and is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. Prices were revised from October 1, so guests should check the latest tap availability and business information before visiting.
