Craft beer and spice food bar Nekonoshuukaijo in Umegaoka, Setagaya, has released its latest tap list. The headline beer is "RiCE LAGER (Rice Lager) / CRAFTROCK," a collaboration brewed to match the beer feature in the magazine RiCE. It looks like a clean, food-friendly lager that fits naturally with the bar's menu.

The lineup also includes "Pirono Helles (Helles) / Pirono," "Foeder Sour Vintage 2024 / AJB," "KASUMI (Hazy Session IPA) / Shiga Kogen," "Super Fresh (Hazy DIPA) / WCB x INKHORN collaboration," and "Moon Calendar (West Coast IPA) / NOMCRAFT." With lager, sour, session IPA, hazy DIPA, and West Coast IPA on offer, the selection covers a broad range of beer styles.

According to the post, the bar has plenty of beer on tap, with options for drinking in-house or taking beer out in a cup. Cans and bottles are also available, and the shop encourages guests to choose beers by style, label design, or mood.

On the food side, the post spotlights char siu made from pork shoulder marinated in a house special sauce and roasted slowly until juicy. As a beer snack, it sounds like a natural match for the tap list.

The bar also notes a June-only happy hour: Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, draft beer is 10% off. For beer fans in Umegaoka, it is an easy place to drop in for both the tap list and the spice-food pairing.
