Three New ANTELOPE "SANAGI" Releases Newly Arrive at Nomimono-ya in Takamatsu
Beer pub Nomimono-ya in Busshozan-cho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, has received three new additions from ANTELOPE Meadery's "SANAGI" series. With sparkling meads distinguished by 4%, 8%, and 12% alcohol content, the lineup invites drinkers to compare and enjoy their different personalities side by side.
Nomimono-ya in Takamatsu, Kagawa, announced its new arrivals on Instagram. This time, the shop has brought in the "SANAGI" series from ANTELOPE Meadery, a name drawing attention in Japan's craft mead scene.
The post introduced the following three bottles:
- SANAGI 4 - Mini (ABV 4%)
A Traditional Sparkling Mead made using only domestic Japanese honey. Designed to be sweet-tart and light, it is an approachable bottle even for people who are not yet familiar with mead.
- SANAGI 8 - Ao (ABV 8%)
A Speciality mead made with domestic honey plus kuromoji and lime. Along with its fresh aroma, a subtle astringency gives it definition, making it easy to pair with spicy dishes and ethnic cuisine.
- SANAGI 12 - Supper (ABV 12%)
Also made from domestic honey, but finished as a Traditional Sparkling style with stronger acidity and a drier profile. It is crafted with everyday dining in mind.
The shop occupies a renovated old private house and is known not only for craft beer and Belgian beer, but also for a strong selection of mead and craft sake. For beer lovers as well, this arrival is not one to miss if you're looking to broaden your range of fermented drinks.
The post also included the business days and hours for late March, so it is a good idea to check the latest operating information on social media before visiting. If you're looking for something beyond the usual, a comparative tasting of the three SANAGI bottles looks like a strong destination.
