At the beer pub "Craft Beer Spot Hathor" in Kyobashi, Osaka, news arrived of 11 new beers going on tap. The focal point this time is the T.Y. Harbor x Hathor collaboration, "Kyobashi Helles ~Suspended Sentence~," created to mark a milestone for the shop. It is presented as a "fake Helles" design, with hop character drawn from Nugget, Saaz, and Hallertau Blanc, making it an easygoing beer that still has a proper aromatic presence.

The tap list covers a wide range, from clean styles to beers that showcase acidity and barrel character. It includes Shimanami Brewery's "Shimanami Silky Lager," Du Ciel!'s "Sentinel (The Watcher)," and Minoh Beer entries such as "BATON 009 Pilsner + UME," "BATON 010 Pilsner," and "Yuzu Ho White." Nanshuu Beer contributes "Cask Red" and "Yamaso Hop," covering both heavier and fruitier profiles.

The hop-forward selections are also strong, with Ise Kadoya Beer bringing in "Fresh Pressed Beyond the Pacific" and "Hop Nyaon 11th Fleet," along with its trademark "Ocean Thunder WC IPA," making this a lineup well suited to aroma-driven side-by-side tasting. Even with 11 taps in play, there is little overlap in style, which makes it easy to build a progression from the first beer to the last.

As expected of a shop that keeps multiple taps running in the Kyobashi area, Hathor is known for mixing regulars and limited releases to create a changing face from day to day. Talking with the staff about the condition of each beer at the counter and deciding whether to work through the lagers first or focus on barrel-aged beers and IPAs makes for a day that can feel very different depending on your approach.
