Tap Update

At Mukuraf, the beer pub in Shin-Ohashi, Koto-ku, Tokyo, the tap list has been updated. In the post, two new beers on tap were introduced: Y.MARKET BREWING's "Minamichita Blood Orange IPA" and BREW CLASSIC's "Wolf Chop." The former is presented as an American IPA that brings out blood orange character to the fullest, while the latter is introduced as a Wheat IPA that layers citrus notes reminiscent of lychee and pink grapefruit over the softness of wheat malt and yeast.

What You Can Drink Now

On draft that day were Sankt Gallen's "Whey Sour Strawberry," Iwate Kura Beer’s "Sakura Arashi IPA," Minoh Beer’s "Blooming IPA," Shiga Kogen Beer’s "SNOW MONKEY IPA," and TWO RABBITS’ "Sagi HOPJUICE." The lineup ranges from sour beers to IPAs and hop-juice-style beers, making it easy to compare each glass's character.

On the bottle side, West Coast Brewing's "FullHopAlchemistv29," "Hop Fua," "Time Slip," "Starwatcher," "Alive," and "Slow Motion," as well as Sierra Nevada's "Cosmic Little Thing" and "Pils," were also confirmed. It works well both for people who want to enjoy the strong aroma of West Coast-style beers and for those who want to slot in a light pilsner along the way.

Pairing With Food

In addition to beer, Mukuraf also offers a solid food menu, including meatballs with mashed potatoes, mentaiko and rock nori spaghetti, and corn mousse. From hop-forward IPAs to fruit-driven sours and West Coast-style bottles, it is easy to keep drinking while pairing with food, which is one of this shop's strengths. It is a good place for a relaxed tasting session in Tokyo during cherry blossom season, with the updated taps as the centerpiece.
