Jim-beer Bar Marumugi, a craft beer pub in Arakicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, has published its beer lineup for September 30. Large pours start at 1,200 yen and small pours at 900 yen, with a 100-yen supplement applying to selected beers.

The lineup opens with Baeren Classic from Baeren Brewery in Iwate. At 6.0% ABV, this classic lager is described as a well-balanced beer with both malt richness and bitterness. It should be an easy choice for drinkers looking for a traditional, food-friendly lager with a little more depth.

Shonan Beer from Kanagawa contributes IPA American Style, a 6.0% American IPA presented as a classic hop-led example of the style. Its stronger hop character makes it a natural pick for guests who want bitterness and aroma to take center stage.

From Shinshu OH!LA!HO BEER in Nagano comes CAPTAIN CROW EXTRA PALE ALE. At 5.0% ABV, it is promoted for its exceptionally expressive hop aroma, offering a fragrant, hop-focused experience without the heavier profile of a double IPA.

Romantic Village Craft Brewery in Tochigi supplies Maple Amber Ale. This 6.0% beer carries a 100-yen supplement and is described as sweetly aromatic and gently roasted, with a rich amber character suited to slow sipping.

Shiga Kogen Beer, also from Nagano, rounds out the list with Baby Blonde Miyama. At 5.0% ABV and with a 100-yen supplement, it is light and easy-drinking while retaining a clear hop presence—an appealing choice when the next beer is already in mind.

With beers from breweries across Japan and a mix of lager, IPA, pale ale, amber ale, and blonde ale, Marumugi offers a compact but varied tasting route in the heart of Arakicho. The pub is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. It has also announced a beer price revision from October 1 due to sharply higher carbon dioxide costs.
