Maru Mugi Offers Five Craft Beers, from Classic Lager to Lemongrass-Infused Lager

The lineup begins with Baeren Classic from Baeren Brewery in Iwate. At 6.0% ABV, it is presented as a classic lager with a well-balanced combination of malt richness and bitterness.
Shonan Beer’s IPA American Style, also at 6.0% ABV, puts hops at the center. It is the choice for drinkers looking for a straightforward American-style IPA with a pronounced hop character.
From Repubrew in Shizuoka comes NO LEMON LAGER, a 5.6% lager featuring lemongrass aromas. Maru Mugi describes its character as reminiscent of spiced tea, making it one of the more distinctive options on the list.
The Maple Amber Ale from Romantic Village Craft Brewery in Tochigi is a 6.0% amber ale with a sweet, toasty profile designed for slow sipping. Shiga Kogen Beer’s Baby Blonde Miyama rounds out the selection at 5.0% ABV, offering a light body with a clear hop presence and an easy-drinking finish.
Located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building at 1 Arakicho, Shinjuku, Maru Mugi specializes in domestic craft beer in a casual pub setting. Beer prices were revised from October 1, and the pub is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays.
