Sakaduki Brewing said on Instagram that it is holding a "farewell" pairing day for beers that are running low in stock. In the post, the brewery explains that farewell means "goodbye" and "farewell," and frames the event as a final stage for beers that are about to sell out.

The idea came from kitchen chief Kenta. At Sakaduki, beers are typically fermented and matured in tanks for about a month before they are opened and served as "finished for now." This event takes that brewery philosophy and turns it into a more visible food-and-beer experience.

Sakaduki Brewing is a blue pub in Kitasenju, Adachi Ward, Tokyo, and it opened in 2016. The brewery is known for serving original craft beer alongside charcoal-grilled dishes, with a strong emphasis on pairing beer and food. Its tap list changes with the season, so it is common for certain beers to move quickly and approach the end of their run.

Seen that way, the farewell pairing day is not just about clearing inventory. It is a practical and thoughtful way to give a beer one last, proper appearance at the table before it leaves the lineup.
