Kagiya Brewery in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, will hold a brewery tour at CAGHIYA TAP ROOM Musashi-Nakahara on June 7. This reservation-only event lets guests tour the production area, join a craft beer lecture, sample beers side by side, and talk with the brewers.
The Kagiya Brewery, which handcrafts craft beer in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, will host a brewery tour on June 7. The venue is CAGHIYA TAP ROOM at the Musashi-Nakahara store. The event runs from 11:00 to 13:00, and participation costs 5,500 yen per person, including tax.
This tour is designed to help participants learn how the beer they usually drink is made by looking at the actual equipment and ingredients. The post says that members who are actively brewing will clearly guide visitors through the tools used in the brewery, the differences among raw materials, and the brewing process for craft beer. The appeal is that you can understand elements like hops, bitterness, and fruity aromas not only through words, but also together with the atmosphere of the production site.
The program includes a brewery tour, a craft beer lecture, beer tasting side by side, and conversations with the brewer. It is structured so that not only craft beer enthusiasts but also first-time visitors can join easily, offering a chance to experience the fun of "a glass you drink after learning about it."
Kagiya Brewery says on its official website that it handcrafts and sells about 15 kinds of original beer. Based in Musashi-Nakahara, it has also opened directly managed stores in Musashi-Kosugi and Jiyugaoka, steadily expanding a beer culture rooted in the local community. This tour is one more effort to bring beer and drinkers closer by opening up the place where it is made.
Participation is by advance reservation only, and applications are accepted by DM or through the official LINE account by sending your name and number of participants. A beer you drink after seeing the brewery in person is likely to feel a little different from your usual one.
