Matsumoto Brewery will hold the "5th Matsuburu Brewery Festival" on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Nonomizo Brewery. According to the official website, the event will include draft beer sales, food booths, a children's fair, and brewery tours.

Food offerings are expected to include freshly made takoyaki from Yakitateya, sansaigaki from Flying Swallow, gourmet burgers from Burger Chop, crepes and sweets from Dolce Vivi, yakiniku-style menu items from Yakikunikoro Taishogun, and Matsuburu pizza. The lineup is designed to pair well with beer and should also be easy for families to enjoy.

Brewery tours require advance reservations and will be accepted at the reception booth starting at 11:00 on the day of the event. The participation fee is 1,000 yen, which includes two souvenir beers, and companions under 20 years old may join for free. The tours will be held three times in total, at 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00, with 20 people per session.

For access, a shuttle bus will run from Matsumoto Station's Alps Exit to the brewery. Reservations are already said to be nearly full, so advance booking is required for anyone who wants to use it. If taking a route bus, board the Airport Imai Line from Matsumoto Bus Terminal, get off at Nonomizo-guchi, and walk for about eight minutes.

Based in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Matsumoto Brewery continues to brew beer with an emphasis on local connections. It also operates taprooms at its Nakacho, Honmachi, and Ekimae locations, linking places to drink locally with the brewery itself. This brewery festival can be seen as an event that makes that philosophy easy to experience firsthand.
