The beer pub Mukuraf in Shin-Ohashi, Koto-ku, Tokyo, is open today as well. There is still room at the tables, and guests who come just for bottled beer are welcome too. There are no new kegs tapped yet, and the plan is to rotate in new beers once something kicks, but even now the style range is broad.

The Food Is Strong Too


The food menu is broad, ranging from pork shank and eggplant spaghetti arrabbiata, sakura trout carpaccio, cocktail shrimp, and galette complète to summer vegetable and minced beef curry rice, Brie cheese with house-baked bread, house-made ham and bread, a grown-up pound cake with amanatsu, and watermelon granita with panna cotta. Regular staples also include omurice, napolitan, a round cheese omelet, Belgian fries, and firm pudding topped with ice cream, making it easy to choose something to pair with beer.
