Highbury -The Cave of Beer- used its Instagram post to show two different sides of the brand: HOME in Shinjuku Gyoen and CAVE in Sakuragicho.

At HOME, the venue is running Free Somen 2026, with the post noting that the program is available through August 9. The first noodles are served as Handa somen, while the beer side highlights Rehmenbräu poured from a Bavarian keg. Three versions are listed: unfiltered, centrifuge, and filtered. Takoyaki is also on offer, and guests who bring ice can even get shaved ice through the cloud-ice setup. It is a playful, summer-focused lineup.

CAVE, meanwhile, is operating as usual and serving Kou’s special chilled Chinese noodles. That fits Highbury’s British-pub atmosphere well, where food and beer are meant to be enjoyed together.

The hashtags at the end of the post also mention Thornbridge, Yebisu, Pilsner Urquell, Baeren, Lowenbrau, Fujizakura, Plank, Yo-Ho, Riegele, and Bonito. Taken together, they show both the breadth of beers associated with the place and the lighter, event-driven spirit behind the post.

With somen at HOME and chilled noodles at CAVE, Highbury -The Cave of Beer- continues to present distinct experiences at each location while staying firmly beer-centered.
