Lineup for 5/27 (Wed.)

At Yokohama Bay Brewing's Yokohama Front location, three new house beers were tapped in succession on May 27. The highlights this time are "Bay Pilsner HaraTau Edition," "Sprint IPA," and "Sara." True to a directly operated taproom, the lineup makes it easy to compare different styles with distinct aromas and finishes, all built around the brewery's signature beers.

"Bay Pilsner HaraTau Edition" is a version of the standard Bay Pilsner that swaps the hop recipe for German Hallertau hops. It has a different character from the usual Bay Pilsner, making it a good choice for a first beer of the day or for comparison tasting.

Next up, "Sprint IPA" is a West Coast IPA with aromas reminiscent of citrus and stone fruit. It is described as having a light, brisk drinkability while still offering the satisfying presence expected of an IPA. "Sara" is a Hazy IPA that layers tropical notes like mango and passion fruit with a refreshing citrus brightness, resulting in a beer that stays enjoyable all the way through.

On the food side, the daily menu adds "Addictive Cucumbers" and "Garlic Shrimp." Both pair easily with beer, making them a good fit for snacking lightly while working through the tap list.

The shop is a beer pub on the second floor of THE YOKOHAMA FRONT in the Yokohama Station area, directly operated by Yokohama Bay Brewing. Its defining feature is a lineup of 24 draft beers centered on house-brewed fresh beer. On tap are house labels such as "Bay Pilsner," "Bay Dark," "Bay Weiss," "Yuzu Weiss," and "Weekend Journey," alongside guest beers including "Pilsner Urquell," "Peroni," "Trial Brew / GRANDLINE BREWING," "Charm / Nara Brewing," "Welcome to Paradise / Craft Rock Brewing," "Onmenbroi / Baeren Bier," and "Super Sonic Speed Sour / Yokohama Beer." It is an easy place to enjoy classics, new releases, and guest beers all at once in central Yokohama.
