Tokyo's Irish Pub Tullamore in Tomigaya will be open on Sunday, May 10, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. On draft will be Guinness, Shiga Kogen Beer IPA, and Yebisu, along with Ikari Brewing's Irish Red and Kyoto Brewing's guest IPA.
Irish Pub Tullamore in Tomigaya, Shibuya, Tokyo, will be open on Sunday, May 10, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Last call for drinks is 10:30 p.m., and food will be served until 10:00 p.m. In the calm setting of the Yoyogi Park area, it's a day when you can spend time like a true pub, with beer at the center.
The draft lineup for the day starts with three staples: Guinness, Shiga Kogen Beer IPA, and Yebisu. Added to that is Ikari Brewing Irish Red -Nitro-, and in the guest slot is Kyoto Brewing HOP IDOL Strata. In particular, HOP IDOL Strata is introduced as a single-hop IPA made only with Strata hops, featuring sweet tropical berry-like aromas, a subtle floral note, a creamy mouthfeel, and a crisp bitterness.
Tullamore's approach includes a pint shelf a little over 10 centimeters wide for placing drinks and small plates, making it easy to stand and drink outside on a nice day. Large plates can't be set there, but fish and chips, chicken and chips, and fries can be served in takeout bags, which makes it easy to enjoy food by hand as you drink, one of the ways this place feels true to its pub character.
For the Holiday Roast daily special, roast pork is on offer that day. Paired with marinated roasted peppers and tomato with cottage cheese, it's a menu built to make you want to keep sipping beer slowly. It's just the thing for a day when you want to try the pub's staples and guest beers in turn, along with a meal.
