At BeerO’clock Bottle Shop in Nitta-cho, Chiba, on the first floor of the Ezawa Building, a "NEW ARRIVAL" announcement has been made that stout fans will not want to miss. This lineup features three dark beers that let you enjoy differences in roast aroma, sweetness, and body.

First up is Baeren "Coffee Stout" (Coffee Stout / 6.5%). This beer uses dark-roasted beans supervised by Nagasawa COFFEE, layering the gentle sweetness of British malt with the roasted character of Ethiopian coffee beans. The post describes it as a "beer that goes well with chocolate," and it seems like a great match for a drink after a meal.

Next is VERTERE "Clusia" (Imperial Stout w/ Banana & Maple Syrup / 10.0%). Designed with a dessert-like profile using banana puree and maple syrup, it offers notes reminiscent of caramel and banana bread beneath the roast. It is said to feature a thick body from lactose and a long finish.

The third is VERTERE "Coffea" (Coffee Stout / 7.5%). It uses beans roasted by Gotta Coffee in Okutama, balancing a fragrant aroma with a smooth mouthfeel. In the Brewers Note, it is explained that using the beans without grinding helps suppress off-flavors and bring the aroma forward.

Even though it is a bottle shop, one of the charms of BeerO’clock Bottle Shop is that you can enjoy it inside the store as well. Whether you're choosing a bottle to take home or settling in for a comparison tasting, this is a place that caters to both moods.
