Osaka's Craft Beer Bar Marciero Announces New Taps, Serving 8 Kegs Including Shiga Kogen Beer
The beer pub Craft Beer Bar Marciero in Dojima-cho, Osaka, announced eight newly tapped beers. The tap list features a lineup of distinctive domestic and international brewers, including Shiga Kogen Beer, Fermentary, Hop Kotan Brewing, and Range Brewing.
Craft Beer Bar Marciero in Dojima-cho, Kita Ward, Osaka, has posted its newly tapped beer list on Instagram. This lineup includes eight beers, spanning a wide range of styles from blonde ale to imperial stout.
The highlight is Shiga Kogen Beer’s from scratch. Served as a blonde ale, it was also introduced in the bar’s post as “the new tap here!” In addition, the lineup includes Fermentary’s Extra Special Bitter from Nara, Hop Kotan Brewing’s Yorimichi from Hokkaido, and Trans Brewing’s Hiragishi Kaidou Apple Ale from Hokkaido, offering a strong sense of each domestic brewery’s character.
The overseas selections are also worth noting. Kind of Gold is a collaboration IPA by DOGFISH HEAD, OXBOW, and SHIGA KOGEN. Trap Door’s Sea Change is an American IPA, 3sons Brewing’s Coco Logic is an imperial stout, and Range Brewing’s Dreams appears as a hazy IPA.
Marciero is an easy-to-stop-by beer pub in Osaka’s Umeda area, and the post also notes that it accepts credit cards and cashless payments. Hours are 5:00 p.m. to midnight on weekdays, and 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. It is closed on Tuesdays. It works well both for a single drink after work and for a more leisurely tasting session.
Looking at the tap lineup, it includes everything from a light blonde ale to aromatic IPAs and dark stouts, so beer fans will enjoy it even just browsing the menu. If you are following the latest craft beer scene in Osaka, this new tapping is one to check out.
