Baeren’s autumn beer event returns

Baeren Brewery, based in Shizukuishi, Iwate, will host Oktoberfest 2026 from Sunday, September 20 through Tuesday, September 22. The main event will take place at a special venue on the brewery grounds, in front of the Kitayama brewery.

The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 10:00 a.m. Advance tickets cost ¥3,800 per day, including an original event beer mug. Guests may also bring their own Baeren mug. The event is advance-ticket only, with no tickets sold at the venue. According to the official announcement, tickets for September 20 have sold out, while sales information remains available for September 21 and 22.

Classic beer and Iwate food

The food area will offer snacks and dishes from Iwate designed to pair with beer. Visitors can enjoy Baeren’s classic beers, brewed in a traditional European style, in the atmosphere of the brewery grounds. Public transportation is recommended, and a paid shuttle bus will operate between Morioka Station’s west exit and the venue.

Pre-event and encore day

A pre-event will be held on September 19, followed by an encore day on September 23. Neither requires the main event’s advance ticket. Beer will be sold by the glass rather than as an all-you-can-drink package. Four beers are planned at ¥500 per glass, or ¥400 for visitors who bring a Baeren event mug. A free registration ticket offers ¥100 off the first beer and ¥100 off food.

The pre-event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., while the encore day runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No shuttle bus service is scheduled on either day. Visitors should check Baeren Brewery’s official event page for weather-related updates and other details.
