Five new beers arrive at Izuya Shoten
Beer pub Izuya Shoten in Nakanobu, Shinagawa, Tokyo, announced five new arrivals on October 3. Three beers come from Shizuoka’s West Coast Brewing, while two are from Nagano’s Minami-Shinshu Beer.
West Coast Brewing’s lineup includes “Full Hop Alchemist rX,” a hazy double IPA; “Starwatcher,” a West Coast IPA; and “Jog Juice w/anchovy liquid lupulin,” an American pale ale. Together, they offer several expressions of hop-forward brewing, from a fuller hazy IPA profile to a more approachable pale ale.
Minami-Shinshu Beer contributes “Oktoberfest,” a seasonal Märzen, and “Apple Hop Shinano Gold,” a fruit beer made with Shinano Gold apples. The selection adds an autumnal lager style and a fruit-focused option alongside the IPA-led lineup.
