Three new beers at MIHAMA BASE

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer specialist in Inagekaigan, Chiba, has added three new draft beers. The selection ranges from a hazy double IPA to a hop-forward double red ale and a classic West Coast IPA.

West Coast Brewing — Full Hop Alchemist rX

The latest release in West Coast Brewing’s FHA r series is an 8.5% Hazy Double IPA. Pineapple-like tropical aromas meet bright lime and lemon notes. Despite its ripe sweetness, the finish is unexpectedly dry and refreshing.

Isekadoya Beer — Imperial Red Ale

Isekadoya Beer’s Imperial Red Ale returns as a revived semi-regular beer. This 6.5% Double Red Ale has an IBU of 85 and a vivid copper-red appearance. Citrus and grape-like fruitiness lead into a firm malt body and assertive bitterness, balancing strength with drinkability.

Pizza Port — Swami’s IPA

Pizza Port’s Swami’s IPA is a 6.8% West Coast IPA with an IBU of 72. Its bright citrus hop character is supported by a subtle biscuit-like malt sweetness. The bitterness is clear, while the finish remains dry and crisp.

Other beers on tap include Guinness, Kirin Heartland, Hoegaarden White, Wormtown Be Hoppy IPA, Beachwood Solar Echo, and FARMENTRY 2nd Anniversary IPA. MIHAMA BASE also offers bottled and canned beer for takeaway. The shop is located in Chiba’s Mihama Ward and is open from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., closed on Tuesdays.
