A celebratory hazy double IPA from FARMENTRY

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE has tapped FARMENTRY 2nd Anniversary IPA, a commemorative beer from the brewery based in Kashihara, Nara. Brewed for FARMENTRY’s second anniversary, the beer brings a dense, fruit-forward hop profile to the tap list.

The beer is an 8.0% DDH Hazy DIPA. Riwaka Cryo and Rakau Amplifire Oil lead the hop bill, supported by Sabro, Citra, and Mosaic. Its aroma and flavor suggest guava, tropical fruit, and stone fruit, while wheat and oats contribute to a soft, smooth mouthfeel and a distinctly hazy appearance.

Despite its strength, the beer is described as retaining FARMENTRY’s characteristic lightness. It is a fitting anniversary release for drinkers who enjoy juicy New Zealand hop character with substantial body.

The day’s draft selection also includes Guinness, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, West Coast Brewing Twelve As One, Wormtown Be Hoppy IPA, Coronado Mermaid’s Red Amber Ale, Beachwood Solar Echo, and Offshoot Relax Anniversary DDH Hazy DIPA. The lineup spans stout, pilsner, white ale, West Coast IPA, amber ale, and hazy double IPA styles.

Located in Takasu, Mihama-ku, Chiba, MIHAMA BASE is a craft beer-focused restaurant with more than nine draft taps, food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Bottled and canned beers are also available for takeaway. The venue is open from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and is closed on Tuesdays.
