FARMENTRY’s Powder Juice is now on tap
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE Makuhari, a craft beer-focused brewery and dining spot in Mihama, Chiba, has announced a new tap: FARMENTRY’s Powder Juice.
Powder Juice is a collaboration between Nara-based FARMENTRY and Okinawa’s MAHOWBREW. Classified as a Northern IPA, it carries 6.5% ABV and 34 IBU.
The beer presents juicy hop aromas and flavors reminiscent of citrus, apricot, and peach. Despite its layered aroma, the finish is dry with restrained bitterness, giving the beer a smooth and approachable character. It offers plenty of hop expression without becoming overly heavy, making it suitable for sipping on its own or pairing with food.
MIHAMA BASE Makuhari is known for its rotating selection of Japanese and international craft beers. Guests can enjoy draft beer in the shop, while takeout service for craft beer is also available. The relaxed setting makes it a convenient stop for a post-work pint or a slower evening focused on exploring the tap list.
The original announcement also mentions the final weekend of the shop’s Vietnam DAY series. Pairing Powder Juice with the event’s Vietnamese and other ethnic-inspired snacks could highlight the beer’s citrusy, fruity hop profile.
The Makuhari location is open from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with food orders ending at midnight and drink orders at 12:30 a.m. Availability and event details may change, so checking with the venue before visiting is recommended.
