Sekimachi Cellar Introduces Four New WCB Releases: FHA v29 and Time Slip Arrive
The beer pub and liquor shop "Sekimachi Cellar" in Nerima Ward, Tokyo, has shared new West Coast Brewing arrivals on Instagram. The lineup includes the Hazy Double IPA "Full Hop Alchemist v29," along with "Time Slip," "Apples Apples," and "Starwatcher," all available to enjoy at the in-store kaku-uchi counter.
Sekimachi Cellar, in Sekimachihigashi, Nerima Ward, Tokyo, announced new West Coast Brewing arrivals on Instagram. The post title, "This week's WCB⚡️new arrivals⚡️...", makes it a must-see update for WCB fans.
In addition to its liquor-store selection, Sekimachi Cellar is a beer pub with a kaku-uchi counter on the first floor and a terrace on the second. Because cans and bottles can also be enjoyed inside the shop, it is easy not only to buy and take them home, but also to compare them on the spot. The shop is known for its wide craft-beer lineup and for constantly rotating its selection.
The four WCB arrivals confirmed this time are as follows.
- Full Hop Alchemist v29 / West Coast Brewing
- Time Slip / West Coast Brewing
- Apples Apples / West Coast Brewing
- Starwatcher / West Coast Brewing
Among them, "Full Hop Alchemist v29" is a Hazy Double IPA in WCB's Alchemist series. Built with Citra, Wakatu, and Rakau, it suggests tropical fruit character and a rich, full-bodied mouthfeel. "Time Slip" is a Hazy Pale Ale, suited to those who want to enjoy a balance of hop aroma and light drinkability rather than the stronger outline of an IPA. "Apples Apples" is a Hard Apple Cider, appealing not only to beer drinkers but also to those looking for a clean, fruit-based drink. "Starwatcher" is WCB's flagship West Coast IPA, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy citrus and pine-like dry bitterness.
Sekimachi Cellar's kaku-uchi is well suited to sampling distinctive labels like these little by little, right there in the shop. Drinking WCB's new releases and staples side by side makes it easy to see not only the differences in brewing, but also the character differences between IPA, Hazy, and cider. Along Aoyama-dori, being able to combine shopping with a drink is exactly the kind of use this shop is made for.
For those following WCB's new releases, as well as those who simply want to try one intriguing label by the glass, Sekimachi Cellar is a great fit. For beer lovers, starting with a drink at the kaku-uchi counter and then taking home a can or bottle you liked is the ideal flow.
