FETISH CLUB Announces Three New Collaboration Beers with Daidogeijutsukan, Expressing Art-Inspired Character
On April 29, FETISH CLUB unveiled new collaboration beers with the "Daidogeijutsukan" headed by Koichi Tsuzuki. Using black velvet paintings, crafts born from everyday items, and the museum's extraordinary interior scenes as clues, the brand has distilled the worldview of art into beer in three distinct styles.
FETISH CLUB has unveiled new beers created in collaboration with the "Daidogeijutsukan" headed by Koichi Tsuzuki. Based at Brew Lab in Tokyo and a brewery in Kudamatsu, Yamaguchi Prefecture, the brand has long expressed its devotion to art and culture through beer, and this project reflects that spirit.
The three beers introduced this time each have a different worldview.
- VELVET ART / VELVET ART
BITTER ORANGE IPA 6.0%
Inspired by paintings on black velvet fabric and works displayed in the museum's karaoke room. It combines ripe orange flesh with bitter peel notes and is finished as an elegant IPA.
- OKAN ART / OKAN ART
DDH PALE ALE 5.0%
This one translates the carefree spirit of "okan art" into a beer designed to be easy to drink. It emphasizes citrus hops while keeping the alcohol impression restrained, aiming for a clean, refreshing finish.
- MUSEUM / MUSEUM
DDH HAZY IPA 6.0%
Inspired by the sights that spread across the bar "Cha to Sake Wakame" on the second floor of Daidogeijutsukan, where everyday life and the extraordinary seem to overlap. The imbalance of a space lined with love dolls is expressed through a rich, silky hazy IPA.
FETISH CLUB continues making beer with a system that includes Brew Lab in Minato, Tokyo, and a brewery in Kudamatsu, Yamaguchi Prefecture, equipped with four brewhouses of various sizes and 20 fermentation tanks. Carefully drawing out points of contact with art, and allowing the background of each work to be tasted through aroma and texture as well, is a defining feature of the company's collaborations.
