T.S.Brewery・Yakitori Sakagura Yoitori introduces five craft beers in the basement of Tokushima Station
T.S.Brewery・Yakitori Sakagura Yoitori on the basement floor of Tokushima Station Clement Plaza introduced five in-house brewed craft beers. Along with the standard Shimmachigawa Pale Ale, Shimmachigawa Sudachi Honey, and Shimmachigawa Stout, visitors can compare two seasonal limited-edition beers as well. Paired with a post about the sukiyaki set meal, the appeal of a station-connected brewpub’s convenience also comes through.
T.S.Brewery・Yakitori Sakagura Yoitori, directly connected to Tokushima Station, is a brewpub centered on yakitori and craft beer. Its major appeal is that you can enjoy beer brewed in-house right away in the calm underground space at the station.
In this post, the brewery introduced five craft beers alongside a sukiyaki set meal simmered in a sweet-savory warishita sauce. The three regulars are Shimmachigawa Pale Ale, Shimmachigawa Sudachi Honey, and Shimmachigawa Stout, joined by two seasonal limited beers. With a pale ale that brings out citrus aromas, a bottle that combines sudachi tartness with honey sweetness, and a dark beer with roasty notes, the flavor directions are clearly distinct, making it fun to think about what to pair with the meal.
From the photos in the post, you can imagine not only sukiyaki but also yakitori made with Awaodori chicken and dishes using Tokushima ingredients. While beer is the star, the real strength of Yoitori is that you can eat a solid meal of meat dishes and hot pot as well. It opens from 11:30 a.m., and with its location just one minute on foot from the station, it is easy to stop by during sightseeing or before and after travel.
This is a place to keep in mind when you want to drink craft beer that conveys the character of Tokushima together with yakitori or hot pot.
