Yoho Brewing is partnering with Shimokitazawa Curry Festival 2026 to offer its flagship craft beer, India no Aoni, alongside curry dishes at five restaurants. The collaboration runs from October 8 through October 25, 2026.

Participating restaurants are Kyu Yamtei Shimokitazawa, Curry no Wakusei, E-itou Curry Shimokitazawa, Kurokawa Shokudo, and Curry Shokudo Kokoro Shimokitazawa. Each venue serves a different style of curry, giving visitors the opportunity to compare how the same IPA works with varied spice profiles and textures.

India no Aoni is an India Pale Ale known for its pronounced bitterness and vivid grapefruit-like hop aroma. Its assertive character is designed to stand up to strongly seasoned food, while the bitterness can help refresh the palate between bites. For craft beer drinkers, the pairing offers a straightforward way to examine the relationship between hop intensity and curry spice.

The five participating restaurants will also distribute limited-edition original stickers. Festival visitors who collect 10 stamps through the curry stamp rally can receive India no Aoni, while supplies last. Checking restaurant hours and the availability of stickers or prizes before visiting is recommended.

Founded in 1997, Yoho Brewing is based in Nagano Prefecture, with its main base in Miyota. The brewery has built a portfolio of distinctive beers, including Yona Yona Ale and Wednesday Cat, around its mission of bringing more variety and flavor to beer culture. Its food and event collaborations extend that approach beyond the glass.

For visitors to Shimokitazawa, the campaign offers an easy route to explore five curry stops while considering how hop aroma and bitterness interact with each dish.
