Tokyo beer pub Ji-Beer Bar Marumugi has announced a five-beer lineup for October 7, featuring Minoh Beer’s peach Weizen, Ushitora Brewery’s IPA, and beers from Repubrew, COEDO, and Ise Kadoya Beer. Large pours cost ¥1,300 and small pours ¥1,000.
Ji-Beer Bar Marumugi, a craft beer pub in Arakicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, has published its beer lineup for October 7. The selection covers a broad range of flavors, from fruit-forward wheat beer to hop-driven IPA, aromatic lager, and malt-rich ESB.
Minoh Beer’s “Kokusan Momo Weizen Shimizu Hakuho Ver.” leads the lineup. At 5.0% ABV, it is described as a dry peach Weizen with a fresh, juicy peach aroma derived from Shimizu Hakuho peaches.
Ushitora Brewery’s “Ogon no Hop Star IPA☆” is a 6.5% IPA offering a nostalgic yet contemporary hop character. It should appeal to drinkers looking for a more pronounced hop aroma and bitterness.
Repubrew’s “NO LEMON LAGER” comes in at 5.6%. Rather than a straightforward lemon flavor, the beer highlights lemongrass, with an aromatic profile reminiscent of spiced tea.
COEDO’s “Beniaka” is a 7.0% beer made with Kawagoe’s distinctive Beniaka sweet potato. Its profile combines gentle sweetness with a roasted, aromatic character.
The lineup is rounded out by Ise Kadoya Beer’s 5.0% ESB, described as rich and full-bodied while finishing cleanly enough to invite another pour.
Prices for the day are ¥1,300 for a large serving and ¥1,000 for a small serving. Located on the second floor of the Ichibankan Building in Arakicho, Marumugi is known for presenting rotating selections of Japanese craft beer. The range on October 7 offers options for both tasting across styles and settling in with a favorite pint.
The pub is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. Visitors should confirm the day’s availability before visiting.
