At the beer pub SEKIYA TAP STAND, on the first floor of Sekiya in Nakacho, Kunitachi City, Tokyo, KUNITACHI BREWERY's new beer has appeared. The post introduces it as '2026', with an ABV of 5.0%. Its style is Japanese Rice Lager.

This '2026' is part of KUNITACHI BREWERY's standard lineup, following the beer '1926.' While '1926' takes its name from the year the Kunitachi Station building opened, this release is presented as a commemorative label brewed to mark the 100th anniversary of Kunitachi Station's opening. It uses rice grown in Kunitachi along with domestic malt and hops as its main ingredients, and is said to have a soft, smooth mouthfeel, a rounded barley umami, a light, easy-drinking profile, and a gentle bitterness, resulting in a lager that doesn't get tiresome to drink.

SEKIYA TAP STAND is known as a base for enjoying KUNITACHI BREWERY beers, located one minute on foot from the south exit of Kunitachi Station. What makes the place interesting is that, beyond tasting it on tap, you can spend time drinking slowly inside while also getting a sense of the background behind this locally rooted brewing. The post said the shop would be open until 20:00 that day, with last order at 19:50.

It also announced that the 'Kuniburu Spring Tasting Event' is scheduled to be held on April 11 on the first floor of Sekiya. With the new '2026' as the spark, the trend continues toward wanting to compare it side by side with the standard '1926'.
