NOVORU's 'Warau' Tapped at Kobe's BEER SPACE on Tap, West Coast IPA Debuts
BEER SPACE on Tap in Kobe's Motomachi announced on Instagram the new tap from Miyazaki's NOVORU, 'Warau.' Today's on Tap featured seven beers centered on a West Coast IPA, ranging from gose to ale and pilsner.
BEER SPACE on Tap, located in the basement along Motomachi-dori in Kobe, is a beer pub with a calm, old-fashioned interior. It is a space where you can take your time with beers poured from the shop's proud beer servers.
The new tap introduced in this Instagram post was NOVORU / Warau from Miyazaki. It is a West Coast IPA with 7% ABV, characterized by aromas reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruit, followed by a crisp bitterness that lingers after each sip. The body is clear and not too heavy, making it an easy fit both as a first beer and as a second or later round for IPA fans.
Today's on Tap also featured the following lineup.
- ONE's Brewery / CGS-01 Contemporary Gose
- ISINOMAKI HOP WORKS / Makikaze Ale
- OUR BREWING / Magic Flavour
- ONE's Brewery / 'Smoldering' Shu
- Edel Pils
- Tamba-ji Brewery / Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom
From sour gose to a pilsner, and even beers whose names evoke the season, it is a lineup with a wide range. The post also noted that Edel Pils is nearly kicked, so if you are interested, it seems wise to check in early.
BEER SPACE on Tap is a small shop with 11 seats, and its location is easy to access from Motomachi Station. Its tap lineup makes it a good place to look for a beer that fits your mood of the day in a quiet underground space.
