Tsukioka Brewery will release its new "Echigohime Yogurt Sour" on May 24 to mark its 5.5th anniversary. The venue is "Revol bird" in Chuo-cho, Shibata City, and the anniversary event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. that day.

The brewery is based in Tsukioka Onsen, Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture, and makes craft beer under the theme of "beer that connects drinkers and people." As a brand that has continued to create products inspired by the atmosphere of the hot spring area and local ingredients, this new release strongly reflects the region as well.

The commemorative brew, "Echigohime Yogurt Sour," is centered on a combination of Niigata's branded strawberry "Echigohime" and yogurt sour, as its name suggests. According to the official announcement, this limited brew will be included in the all-you-can-drink lineup along with the four standard beers, and the event will also feature pairings with special appetizers available only at the event. Following the "Le Lectier Yogurt Sour" that appeared for the 5th anniversary, this is another anniversary sour-style brew, and it will be interesting to see how the fruity aroma and gentle acidity are brought together.

As a craft beer brewery in a hot spring town, Tsukioka Brewery has continued offering beers that are approachable not only to tourists but also to local residents. Once again, using the milestone anniversary as an opportunity, it will share the appeal of Tsukioka and Shibata through a glass that combines local fruit with lactic acidity.
