Shibuya beer pub taki is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a special tap list on September 19. The lineup features Onidensetsu’s Ao Oni Pilsner, Ise Kadoya Beer’s Imperial Red Ale, and Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen.
Beer pub taki in Sakuragaoka, Shibuya, is holding an event to mark its 15th anniversary. On September 19, the pub will be open from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, with a fresh keg tapped as soon as the doors open.
The featured beer is Ao Oni Pilsner, a flagship beer from Onidensetsu Brewery in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido. It is a 5.0% ABV pilsner brewed with two hop varieties, centered on Saaz hops. The brewery describes it as a light-bodied beer with a clean finish and a pleasant, slightly bitter character, making it an easy match for food and a natural choice for a celebratory toast.
The day’s tap list also includes Ise Kadoya Beer’s Imperial Red Ale and Minoh Beer’s Peach Weizen, made with Shimizu white peach. Together, the three beers offer a varied tasting lineup: a crisp pilsner, a malt-forward red ale, and a fruit-accented wheat beer.
taki is located on the third floor of Johnson Building in Shibuya’s Sakuragaoka district. Guests can enjoy the anniversary taps in the pub’s relaxed setting, with staff Seki, Moe, and Yama on hand for the event. Food orders close at 11:00 p.m., followed by a 11:30 p.m. last call for drinks.
