At the Takamatsu, Busshozan beer pub Nomimono-ya, new arrivals from Brew Classic Beer have been announced. The stars this time are four IPA-style beers from the brewery. The styles range from Hazy IPA to Juicy IPA to West Coast IPA, and even within the same 6.5% range, the differences in aroma and mouthfeel stand out clearly.

First up is "Eoraptor (Hazy IPA / 6.5%)". Built around Mosaic, Simcoe, and Strata, with Sabro added as an accent, it features tropical nuances reminiscent of passion fruit, grapefruit, and lychee. It has a solid haze and a silky texture, finishing with a bitterness like citrus peel.

"Super Mandrill (Juicy IPA / 6.5%)" uses Rakau, Nelson, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Sabro. The soft mouthfeel and fruitiness from WLP008 come forward, creating an impressive flow from pineapple, peach, and passion fruit into a sweet-bitter red grapefruit character.

"Ura Tiger Viva Haze (Hazy IPA / 6.5%)" pairs Mosaic, including Cryo, with Citra, and uses yeast WLP067. Its appeal lies in a design that gives tropical character more depth within a silky drinking experience.

And "Let's La Pause (West Coast IPA / 7%)" uses Mosaic Cryo, Citra, Rakau, and Columbus. Its dank citrus aroma and peel-like bitterness stand out, delivering a beer that keeps an old-school core while being finished with a modern touch.

Because Nomimono-ya offers a calm atmosphere where you can take your time, it's easy to focus on tasting the differences in hop composition and yeast. IPA fans will want to try these four beers from the same brewery side by side.
