Two days in Gion

Beer Pub Yumeyomi, located near Gion-Shijo Station in Kyoto, announced a "Snack Ellie!! 5th anniversary event" starting on Sunday, June 28. The post says Ellie from Tokyo will be in attendance and will "sing a little on Sundays." The celebration continues on Monday, June 29, as a post-night after-party titled "Snack Ellie, continued."

Food and beer on the day

The food side leans savory, with kangaroo, duck, and lamb prepared for the event. The tap list posted at the time included KUSANAGI from Nara Brewing, Ophelia from Faló Brewing, Minoh Beer's Hoppy Weizen, a lambic from Den Herberg, and Yebisu. That spread gives the event a wide range of styles, from wheat beer and sour beer to lambic and a classic lager.

What Yumeyomi does well

Yumeyomi is a compact beer pub with a calm, welcoming feel and a strong focus on careful beer service. Its lineup is built around craft beer and Yebisu, and the small-room atmosphere makes it easy to drop in alone. Even during event service, the bar keeps that same Kyoto Gion character: unhurried, beer-forward, and attentive to details. For beer fans, this is the kind of place where a special night still feels grounded in good pours and a solid tap list.
