Beer Stand Amber Rondo, a beer pub in Honcho, Sendai, has announced its draft lineup for October 10.
The highlight is Terminal WC-IPA from Black Tide Brewing. The beer was created to commemorate the first anniversary of the brewery’s taproom in Kesennuma. Its hop bill includes Cascade, Citra, Simcoe and Waimea in standard pellet form, along with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe cryo hops. The beer offers an opportunity to focus on how different hop products shape aroma and flavor.
BREWBEAST contributes three beers: Espresso Stout, Picante and Mr. Radical. Together, they cover rich coffee-like roast, chili character and a fruit-oriented profile.
The lineup also includes Tohoku 6HOPS Hazy IPA from Be Easy Brewing. GreenNeighbors is represented by BERRIES & LEMON, GUAVA W/ PEACH & PASSION FRUIT, and SØMMER, bringing berry, citrus and tropical-fruit notes to the taps.
Schneider Festweisse is listed as available exclusively at Amber Rondo in the Tohoku region, while Barley Oak’s JREAM Yuzu Strawberry Raspberry adds another fruit-driven option. Several beers were marked as nearly sold out, so availability may change quickly.
On October 11, Amber Rondo will host the Sendai Hop Meeting at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Black Tide brewer Osato will explain standard pellets, cryo hops, hop oil and terpenes, with a five-beer tasting designed to demonstrate their differences. Oyster spring rolls and ginger-pork burritos will also be available at the pub.
