Craftbeer Sloth House in Tarumachi, Yokohama shared its Friday service notice together with the day’s tap list. The pub is open from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Beer is poured into plastic cups, payment is cash only, and no food is served on site, though guests can bring food in.
The lineup covers seven beers with a wide range of styles. Yokohama Beer’s Gold Bitter opens the list with a restrained bitter profile, where Cascade-driven citrus sits over English yeast character and a toast-like malt note. NEW Onigashima IX from Y.MARKET Brewing is a hazy IPA made as a regular collaboration with Noboribetsu Jibeer Oni Densetsu, pushing mango, peach, and grapefruit-like fruitiness.
Minoh Beer’s Vit Natt is a collaboration with BREWSKI and comes across as a juicy hazy IPA with grapefruit, orange, mango, and passion fruit. West Coast Brewing’s Firelight, released as a WCB 7th Anniversary Beer, adds grassy, piney, floral, and herbal layers to its citrus-tropical aroma. RePuBrew’s Peach and Apricot DUET WEIZEN leans into white peach and apricot aromas in a fruit-forward wheat beer.
The rest of the list keeps the range going: Minoh Beer’s PLUM GOSE uses ripe Nanko plums and plum vinegar for a refreshing tartness, while Ise Kadoya Beer’s Sakekasu Hazy IPA ZAKU Summer Sake brings sake-lees character, with ginjo-like and white-wine-like notes. It is a compact but varied tap list, with enough style diversity to make a slow, thoughtful tasting session worthwhile.
