At Craft Beer Spot Hathor in Kyobashi, Osaka, the draft beer information for 4/27 has been updated. The taps feature a lineup that lets drinkers choose according to their preferences, ranging from seasonal fruit beers to barrel-aged IPA, classic lager, and stout.
Today’s Openings
The first highlight is Raspberry Pink / Iwate Kura Beer. This wheat ale uses raspberry as its main ingredient and is presented as an easy-drinking fruit beer with a well-balanced mix of aroma, acidity, and the soft sweetness of wheat. It has a springlike lightness and seems well suited to a first pint.
The other newly tapped beer is Cask IPA / Nanshinshu Beer. This IPA, in which the malt body supports the bitterness, is fermented and matured in bourbon barrels. In addition to the refreshing bitterness and aroma of hops, the subtle woody notes from the barrel create the finish. Its defining feature is a layered drinking experience that differs from a standard IPA.
Today’s Recommendations
The recommendations include Double Hazy / BrewDog and Milk Stout Nitro ver / Left Hand. Double Hazy is a hazy IPA in which aromas evoking pineapple, mango, and fresh lime are layered with hints of pine, bringing together the flavor of ripe fruit. Meanwhile, Milk Stout Nitro ver is appealing for its creamy mouthfeel made possible by nitrogen gas, letting you enjoy roast coffee and chocolate flavors at a relaxed pace.
Other Taps
The lineup for the day also includes Jukusen / Asahi Beer, A la Playa / Trademark, Pale Ale Real Ale ver / Minoh Beer, Sarayama Shikao / Minoh Beer x Akishika Shuzo, Golden Ale / Island Brewery, Golden Ale / Shonan Beer, Nikukyu IPA / Ise Kadoya Beer, and NEW Oni Momiji IPA / Onidensetsu Beer. With styles spanning LAGER, ALE, FRUITS, IPA, and BLACK, it is a setup that also suits those who want to take their time comparing different beers.
