In Horiuchi, Hayama Town, Kanagawa, 15brewery (Fifteen Brewery) is announcing that for today’s business on Friday, March 27, standing service is suspended and the shop is operating for growler sales only. Business hours are 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Bottled beer is out of stock, and purchases can be made using sealed bottles you bring yourself, carbonated-drink-compatible PET bottles, or screw-cap glass bottles.

Five beers are currently connected to the taps. The highlights are Wheat Land and Raw Hazy IPA, the former made in part with baguettes from Miura bakery Mutsumugi as one of its ingredients. The former is a light-drinking beer brewed with plenty of wheat malt and aromatized with hops that have a white-wine-like fragrance. The latter uses a Raw Ale process and is said to feature aromas and bitterness reminiscent of citrus and pine needles.

Also on offer are the Belgian-style Numa no Soko, the Stout, which boasts deep richness and an inky black pour, and Orange Ale, with the distinctive intense aroma and acidity of orange. All are sold by weight, with prices listed per 1g or 1ml.

15brewery is a brewery that operates quietly in a location close to a residential area in Hayama. Rather than sitting down and drinking leisurely inside the shop, it is a place suited to taking beer home to enjoy at your own pace, at home or outdoors. The latest business schedule can be checked on the official blog.
