CraftBeerSpot Hathor in Osaka's Kyobashi updated its Aug. 15 draft lineup with beers from Minamishinshu Beer, Nara Brewing, Isekadoya Beer, and Firestone Walker. The bar's 16 taps and smoked-food menu make it a strong stop for broad-style beer tasting.
CraftBeerSpot Hathor, a beer pub in Osaka's Kyobashi, posted its draft lineup for Aug. 15. The bar is known for 16 taps and house-smoked food, making it a place where guests can move from easy-drinking everyday pours to more characterful styles.
The standout opening is Minamishinshu Beer's "30th Pale Ale," brewed to mark the brewery's 30th anniversary. It is an American pale ale built around Cascade hops, with bright citrus aroma and an approachable, steady drinkability. Nara Brewing's "Double Swisher" takes a different direction, layering coffee aroma with tropical notes. It uses natural Ugandan beans and no added fruit, creating a beer that reads like a coffee-forward, lightly sparkling hybrid.
Among the IPA options, Isekadoya Beer's "Brain Melts Ultra Heaven" carries the most weight. Built around Mosaic hops, it is a 10% triple IPA with a dry finish and a dense hop profile. The recommended pour, Firestone Walker's "Primal Elements Blueberry & Marionberry," adds a berry-driven option with barrel-aging character and tart fruit depth.
The rest of the board stays varied: Shiga Kogen's "from scratch Real Ale Ver," Nomcraft x Choryo's "Wine Not?," Shonan Beer's "Summer Orange Ale," Barebottle's "Potion Crusher" and "Three Factor Authentication," and Flora Fermentation x Umbrella Rib's "Decacorn TAWAKI." For drinkers who want a wide style range in one stop, the Aug. 15 lineup is especially broad.
