Tap List for March 27
"Craft Beer Spot Hathor" in Osaka’s Kyobashi is a beer pub where you can enjoy 16 taps and house-smoked dishes. In its March 27 post, it announced that "today we’re tapping two kegs," with Nan Shinshu Beer’s `Apple Hop Ringo Sanningumi ver` and Minoh Beer’s `Rockin' Osaru IPA` newly added.
`Apple Hop Ringo Sanningumi ver` is a happoshu made with apples from Shinshu’s Ina Valley. Its refreshing aroma and acidity harmonize with the hop aroma, making it a beer that lets you clearly taste the fruit character. By contrast, `Rockin' Osaru IPA` is a bold, 8.5% ABV version of the standard `Osaru IPA`. Using Centennial, Cascade, Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo, it features citrus and tropical fruit aromas along with firm bitterness.
The day’s lineup also included `Kyobashi Helles ~Suspended Sentence~` (T.Y. Harbor x Hathor), `Sentinel` (Dew du Ciel!), `BATON 010 Pilsner` (Minoh Beer), `Yuzuho White` (Minoh Beer), `Extreme Chidoriashi 2025` (T.Y. Harbor), `Cask Red` (Nan Shinshu Beer), `Chimay Blue` (Scourmont Abbey), `Tomodachi Saison` (Himitsu Beer x Tone x Kemupa), `Ocean Thunder WC IPA` (Trademark), and `Peanut Butter Milk Stout` (Belching Beaver).
With everything from lagers and fruit beers to IPAs and dark styles, the lineup makes it easy to go from a light first glass to a slower, more leisurely drinking pace. Paired with smoked dishes, it should make the beers’ individual character stand out even more.
