Marumugi, a beer pub on the second floor of Ichibankan Building in Arakicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, posted its craft beer lineup for July 26. The list is priced at 1,200 yen plus add-on for a large pour and 900 yen plus add-on for a small pour, with five distinct beers on offer.

The standout entry is `MEET² (Meat & Meet)` from Baird Brewing x Shibataya Liquor (Shizuoka). It is presented as a Session IPA designed to bring out the flavor of meat dishes. `Akita no Momo no Sour` comes from HOPDOG BREWING (Akita) and is described as a dry, refreshing fruit cider with the aroma of Akita peaches. `Cool Breeze Pils` from Baird Brewing (Shizuoka) is a summer-only Bohemian pilsner built around crisp hops and malt character.

For darker beer fans, `Schwarz` from Baeren Brewery (Iwate) offers roasty notes with a surprisingly light finish. The lineup is rounded out by `Shukuhai IPA` from Romantik-mura Craft Brewery (Tochigi), a juicy IPA with peach and grape notes created for the brewery’s 30th anniversary.

Marumugi also notes that Tuesdays and national holidays are closed. Taken together, the lineup shows the pub’s usual range: a neighborhood beer bar in Arakicho where a food-friendly Session IPA, a seasonal pilsner, a fruit cider, a schwarzbier, and a juicy IPA can all be compared side by side.
