The beer pub craft beer BLUE in Sagamihara, Kanagawa, announced on June 4 that it would tap two beers that day. The new arrivals are RIKRI BREWERY’s “Wallflower” from Tokyo and NEKOBEER’s “Otsumiru ~2026 ver.” from Fukuoka. Both look like beers with a clear aromatic profile and enough structure to make each sip interesting.
RIKRI BREWERY “Wallflower” is a West Coast IPA. The beer is described as having a sharp dry finish driven by high fermentation, with bright notes reminiscent of lime flesh and Sauvignon Blanc. It sounds lean, crisp, and hop-forward, the kind of IPA that should appeal to drinkers looking for a clean edge.
NEKOBEER “Otsumiru ~2026 ver.” is a DDH Oat Cream Hazy IPA brewed with Sabro and Citra. The post highlights Sabro’s coconut-like aroma and Citra’s citrus peel character, along with a refreshing bitterness. With the soft mouthfeel typical of Oat Cream IPA, it should also pair naturally with food.
The tap list on the day also includes BREW CLASSIC “Sairibaa”, BeEasy Brewing “Adohadari”, Repubrew “Chou CAMPai HAZY PALE ALE”, NEKOBEER “Single Neko-san no Single Hop Pale Ale! Rakau ver.”, BREW CLASSIC “Ain't Liquid”, and BrewBeast Brewery “EN de BER”. The range spans Saison, Sudachi Wit, Hazy Pale Ale, Double IPA, and Smoked Amber Ale, giving visitors a broad lineup to compare.
Located on the second floor of a building in Sagamidai, craft beer BLUE is a beer pub that fits an after-work stop as well as a more deliberate tasting visit. The shop’s June 4 update points to service starting at 5 p.m., making it a straightforward place to catch both the hop bite of a West Coast IPA and the softer texture of a hazy cream IPA in one session.
