KARAKURI in Kanda taps Oyama G Beer IPA ahead of Aug. 6 service
KARAKURI -Craft Beer & Oden & Sake- in Kanda announced an India Pale Ale from Oyama G Beer (Tottori) in its Aug. 5 post, along with service information for Aug. 6. The same update also highlighted sake from Zenkichi and Chojin.
KARAKURI -Craft Beer & Oden & Sake-, a basement beer pub in Kanda-Kaji-cho, serves craft beer, sake, and natural wine alongside creative dishes centered on oden. In its Aug. 5 post, the shop announced its Aug. 6 service hours, 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and a new tap of India Pale Ale from Oyama G Beer in Tottori.
The IPA is built around the brewery's idea of using the softness of Oyama's water. It is based on a West Coast style, but tuned to feel smoother on the palate, with a balanced mix of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. That makes it the kind of beer that should work well with food rather than overpower it.
The same post also lists sake options: "Zenkichi Junmai-shu Bin-kan Ikkai Hiire" from Nakazen Shuzoten in Nagano, and "Chojin Namazake Jukusei 5055 Junmai Ginjo" from Chojin Shuzo in Aichi. For drinkers who want one stop with beer, sake, and natural wine, KARAKURI remains a practical Kanda address.
