Inkhorn Brewing brews Yanbaru Kuina 2026 for Enjoy?'s 5th anniversary
Inkhorn Brewing in Mejiro, Tokyo has unveiled Yanbaru Kuina 2026, a 8.0% clear American Double IPA brewed with Enjoy? for the shop's fifth-anniversary event starting June 24. Built around Nelson Sauvin, it leans into pineapple, lime, and dank hop character.
Inkhorn Brewing, based in Mejiro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, has released `Yanbaru Kuina 2026` for the fifth-anniversary event of `Enjoy?` in Kamitopia? no, Kitami? Wait no, the post says 喜多見, so: Kitami's `Enjoy?`.
The beer is an American Double IPA at 8.0% ABV, brewed as a clear, hop-forward expression around Nelson Sauvin. According to the brewery, it delivers pineapple- and lime-like fruit aromas, a dank edge, and firm bitterness, while keeping a dry finish and enough body to make the pint go down smoothly. Even at its higher alcohol strength, the beer is designed to stay balanced and approachable for more than one glass, with a reminder to drink water between pours.
The collaboration grew out of a long-standing relationship between the two businesses. They opened around the same time, have worked together on food pop-ups, and have remained connected through regular visits and shared support. Inkhorn says this year's `Yanbaru Kuina` pushes the hop character even further while keeping the clear IPA structure it has been refining recently.
