At Yokohama Bay Brewing Yokohama Front Shop, located on the second floor of THE YOKOHAMA FRONT on the northwest exit side of Yokohama Station, a March 16 post updated the day’s business information. The star is the daily special roast pork. Served in thin slices, the pork is cooked to stay moist, and it comes with freshly grated horseradish, making it a dish with a clear purpose as something to pair with beer.

In the same post, the shop announced 24 taps under “TODAY’S BEER ON TAP.” In practice, 22 beers were listed by name, centering on Yokohama Bay Brewing’s own beers and including guest beers from Kyoto Brewing Company and UCHU BREWING. Pilsner, weiss, and IPA styles were well balanced, making it easy to choose everything from a light pint to a hop-forward one.

Specifically, the lineup offered a simultaneous tasting of the brewery’s broad range, including Bay Pilsner, Bay Amber, Bay Dark, Bay Weiss, Yuzu Weiss, Apple Weiss, Weekend Journey, Pedaling for IPA, GOOOOOAAAAAL IPA, and Mellow Walk IPA. In addition, Kyoto Brewing’s “Spring Whim” and “Mariko,” plus UCHU BREWING’s “Space Pop Mosaic,” were on the list, making it an easy tap list to roam according to each drinker’s preferences.

The post also mentioned that this weekend, on the 21st and 22nd, the monthly ramen event is scheduled, featuring salt ramen with scallop broth, so it looks like a week worth stopping by for food as well as beer.
