Two New Kegs from Yellow Beer Works and Teenage Tapped at IBREW Shinbashi
In a March 24 post from CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Shinbashi Ekimae, the bar announced the tapping of two guest beers. The lineup featured Yellow Beer Works' "MILK&" and Teenage Brewing's "Mustang." In springtime Shinbashi, it offers a chance to compare a fruity sour with a powerful DDH IPA.
At CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Shinbashi Ekimae, located in Building 1 of the Shinbashi Ekimae Building complex, a March 24 post announced the tapping of two guest beers. It is easy to stop by on foot from the station, and because it combines the casual feel of a beer pub with the atmosphere of a traditional neighborhood drinking spot, it works well for an after-work pint or for a night when you want to drink seriously.
The two newly tapped beers are as follows.
- Yellow Beer Works "MILK&" (Milk Smoothie Sour Ale / ABV 4.0%)
A beer built around fruity character and a milky mouthfeel, made with mango puree, peach puree from Fukushima Prefecture, and even ice cream. It has acidity, but the gentle sweetness makes it easy to keep drinking in early spring.
- Teenage Brewing "Mustang" (DDH IPA / ABV 6.0%)
A DDH IPA that layers Riwaka- and Rakau-derived citrus and stone-fruit aromas onto a full-bodied base. In addition to its vivid aroma, its subtle bitterness gives it a balanced finish.
Because a light, dessert-like sour and a hop-driven IPA were tapped at the same time, the main appeal of this lineup is that you can enjoy a wide range of flavors in one sitting. It is also a great selection for tasting side by side with a group.
The post also mentions that a staff member's last day on the job will be March 29. Along with this seasonal spring update, the two newly tapped kegs are worth keeping on your radar.
