The beer pub Highbury -The Cave of Beer-, located in Hanasakicho, Naka Ward, Yokohama City, announced follow-up information about “KÖLSCH vs ALT~JAPANESE RHINELAND DERBY~” on Instagram. The post revealed that a weekend-long plan is underway for bar hopping between CAVE in Yokohama and HOME in Shinjuku Gyoen on May 16 and 17.

The core of this event is the “KÖLSCH” and “ALT” named in the title. In addition, those who visit both venues will receive a complimentary dish limited to each location, plus a food voucher worth about 650 yen that can be used later at either venue. The setup offsets the burden of transportation costs with these benefits, making the fun of moving from one bar to another in pursuit of beer easy to understand.

On Saturday, May 16, Kato, Ida, and Nogaki from Yokohama Beer are scheduled to visit CAVE from 13:30 to 14:30. In addition, the brewmaster from Kamakura Beer and the brewmaster from Shonan Beer are also expected to appear from around 19:30. On Sunday, May 17, at HOME, former KUNITACHI BREWERY brewmaster and current BET brewer Shiwa is scheduled to arrive from around 17:30, followed by Honda, the brewmaster of Swan Lake.

Highbury -The Cave of Beer- is a place where you can enjoy highly eventful programs in the relaxed atmosphere of a classic beer pub. This follow-up turns the style showdown in beer into a gateway for enjoying the act of moving between the two venues in Yokohama and Shinjuku Gyoen. Along with the contrast between KÖLSCH and ALT, the lineup of names such as Yokohama Beer, Kamakura Beer, Shonan Beer, KUNITACHI BREWERY, BET, and Swan Lake is another point beer lovers will not want to miss.
