Today's Lineup
The small beer bar Craft Beer Bar Marumugi in Arakicho, Shinjuku, has announced its draft lineup for March 28. The menu is priced at Large 1,200 yen+ / Small 900 yen+, and features five beers with distinct personalities.
- Decorean / Y.MARKET BREWING (Aichi) 7.0%
- MUGICHA BITTER / Minoh Beer (Osaka) 4.5%

- Apple Hop Kougyoku Ver. / Minami Shinshu Beer (Nagano) 6.5%
Decorean, described as layering citrus over a black beer, is a pour accompanied by an image evoking an orange peel chocolate treat. MUGICHA BITTER is a gentle bitter that puts its toasty character front and center, while FONIO BEER is introduced as a "luxury lager" that makes the most of the fanciful character of an ancient grain. Alongside the hop-forward Osaru IPA, Apple Hop Kougyoku Ver. is a fruit beer distinguished by the sharp acidity of Kougyoku apples.
Marumugi is a beer pub located a three-minute walk from Tokyo Metro's Yotsuya-Sanchome Station. It is open from 18:00 to 24:00 and is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. With its calm storefront and a lineup suited to drinking according to your mood that day, it is the kind of place where you might want to alternate between dark, bitter, lager, IPA, and fruit beers.
