Highbury -The Cave of Beer- in Sakuragicho, Yokohama, will host Takatsu’s birthday event on July 27. The lineup centers on Minoh Beer Pilsner, poured through the regular tap as well as a stainless swing cask and a LUKR nostalgia tap, alongside the venue’s standard Sapporo Black Label.
At Highbury -The Cave of Beer- in Yokohama’s Sakuragicho area, a birthday event for Takatsu is scheduled for Monday, July 27. The post frames it as the beer-focused follow-up to the celebration, with a lineup built around lager.
The main pour will be Minoh Beer Pilsner. In addition to the regular wall tap, the same beer will be served through a stainless swing cask and a LUKR nostalgia tap. The post says each tap will get 10 liters, with 20 liters allocated to the most popular tap, for a total of 40 liters. That makes this a rare chance to compare how the same beer changes with the dispense method.
The venue will also pour its regular Sapporo Black Label. Highbury is known as a beer pub with a natural fit for cask and real ale culture, paired with an English-pub atmosphere. For beer fans, the appeal here is not only the beer list itself, but also the chance to enjoy it in a room built around classic pub drinking.
The post notes that July 28 is Takatsu’s actual birthday, so this event also serves as an early celebration. For lager drinkers, the combination of Minoh Beer Pilsner and multiple tap styles is the key point to watch.
