Beer pub Eden Tokkyu in Osaka’s Karahori area posted its Aug. 5 service notice, featuring draft beers such as Shirosuzume’s Sentaku Biyori, two Oyamag Beer releases, and Sapporo Black Label. The post also outlined the shop’s Obon business schedule.
Eden Tokkyu, a beer pub in Osaka’s Karahori area, shared its Aug. 5 service notice together with the day’s draft lineup. The shop is scheduled to open from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and it also announced its Obon business plan for Aug. 7 through Aug. 16. The post even included a playful prediction game, with a prize pool of 2,026 ml of beer for the winners.
The headline draft is Shirosuzume’s Sentaku Biyori, an American Wheat Ale built around a gentle, freshly baked bread-like malt character, with restrained hopping and light floral-citrus notes. Next is Oyamag Beer’s Weizen Bock, a 7.5% strong wheat beer with banana-like fruitiness and a rich body. Oyamag Beer’s India Pale Ale is also on the list, presented as a milder take on American IPA with a softer overall profile.
Sapporo Black Label is poured as well, and two more beers are listed as incoming: OGA BREWING’s Aka Post I.P.A. and Mitaka ALT. Those are a Red IPA and a Düsseldorf-style altbier, respectively. Taken together, the lineup covers wheat beer, IPA, lager, and altbier, making for a well-rounded draft selection at this compact Osaka beer pub.
